2026 “Honoring our Heroes’ Children” Scholarship

The Honoring our Heroes’ Children Scholarship seeks to provide educational assistance to children, who have at least (1) one parent currently serving or who previously served in the U.S. Armed Forces or have at least (1) one parent who volunteers or is employed as a First Responder (Fire/EMS/911/Law Enforcement). The scholarship must be used for higher education expenses for a student who will attend a two or four-year university.

Our 2026 Scholarship Application is now open. All applications must be submitted by April 15, 2026. Contact scholarships@scremembers911.org for more information.

The “Honoring Our Heroes’ Children” scholarship began in 2018 and has awarded over $18,000 towards higher education. The scholarship serves as an opportunity to give back to the families of first responders and military service members by extending the application to apply for a grant towards higher education.
